amplitUDE at UDE in Duisburg

amplitUDE is a supercomputer at University of the Duisburg-Essen, which impresses with its high energy efficiency and extraordinary heat recovery concept. The system will provide researchers mainly from the fields of engineering sciences, physics, chemistry and biology with additional resources for massive parallel computing power.

The amplitUDE System has been delivered together with Megware.

amplitUDE Supercomputer Liquid Cooling Technology:

• 4x racks with direct liquid cooled Intel Computing servers
• 4x Stainless steel Rack Manifolds, featuring 100% dry-break quick disconnect technology
• 4x CHx200 rack based CDUs managing 4 racks
• Custom secondary fluid network below the racks
• Warm water cooling of up to 32C water from the facility
